Body therapy

Manuvision Body Therapy is a deep and holistic form of treatment that uses the body to relieve physical and mental ailments. When you are mentally stressed, it manifests as tension in the body and when you are physically stressed, your psyche can also be affected.

In a body therapy course, I help to release the tension in the body and thus open up to any blockages and behavioral patterns that prevent you from living a life in balance. I work to balance your nervous system and free your breathing.

Body therapy is an effective treatment for physical ailments such as back, neck and shoulder pain. With a holistic approach, we identify your tension patterns and the cause of your problems. Pulsating massage techniques, deep pressure and possible joint release are used to loosen and soothe the body. Together we make room for you to let go and find more peace and energy. My goal is for you to become better at listening to your body’s signals and thus strengthen yourself to handle everyday challenges.

How does a treatment with me work?

When you come for a session of treatment, we spend an hour together (or 90 minutes). We start with a short conversation where we focus on what is important to you right now. Here I get an understanding of your situation and the challenges you may be experiencing.

Then you are allowed to undress (you keep your underwear on or more, if you wish) and lie comfortably on the massage table under a sheet. The treatment itself takes place by me working with your whole body using my hands. When the treatment is finished, you get a few minutes of peace alone, where the body can find its balance. Finally, we round off the session together, where I can share advice, exercises and perhaps recommend a follow-up time.

After the treatment, your body will continue to work – that’s why it’s important that you drink plenty of water during the next 24 hours. It’s completely normal if you feel tired or very relaxed for the rest of the day.
